Birmingham Lion Pride

A new lively WHITE LION Cub and siblings were recently born into the Birmingham Lion Pride and fathered by the Mbiri Males. This is the second white lion cub born into the Birmingham pride in recent months. The other one, who was born around six months ago, vanished and has not been seen since. That was a cub of the white Birmingham lioness.
White Lions of the Birmingham Lion Pride
Casper the White Lion is only one of five white lions currently alive in the wild. The other four white lions—a male, a female, and two cubs—are from the Birmingham Pride, and their territory is in the Ngala Private Game Reserve to the west of Kruger National Park. From time to time, the Birmingham Pride wanders into Kruger Park, close to the Orpen Rest Camp area. The Birmingham Pride is the prominent pride of Ngala Private Game Reserve. The current dominant coalition of the Birmingham Pride are two males known as the Ross Males, who took over the Pride in early 2018 and were born in December 2010 Their two White Lion offspring are currently about 3.5 to 4 years old. The Birmingham Pride currently consists of five adult lionesses, eight sub-adults born approximately between September 2018 and March 2019, two cubs born in late March or early April 2020, and three new cubs born in December 2020.
